In reply to edie lowther. You seriously need to research solar power. Oh it's raining? You get less power, not "no power". Oh, an eclipse? C'mon. How often does that happen and for how long? Go do some reading.

I agree what if there is an eclipse we wont be able to use our technology and what if its night time will if stop working what if its a rainy day or a cloudy day they dont tell us the disadvantages

That’s why you have storage. Use the battery in your electric car.
That only means you need the appropriate panel size and design.
What the he|| difference does it make what the efficiency is when the fuel if free?
You don’t have to constrain yourself to battery storage and efficiency is irrelevant. You can make hydrogen, pump water uphill, heat rocks, melt Na, or one of many other possibilities.

Solar power does not work at night.
Solar power is reduced on cloudy days and when the seasonal sun angle is low.
Best efficiencies of panels about 22%.
Battery storage expensive and again efficiency loss.
